Minimum 3 one from Professor, one from HOD & one from project Guide

Original (Letter heads) in sealed covers from three different Professors attested inside and out side of covers.
In Three Different formats.

6.

Statement of Purpose

(Approx Minimum 500 words)

To Be prepared by the student on A4 size paper and signed and Soft copy of the SOP

7.

Resume

Including all your academic, Project work, Experience &Extra Curricular Activities details (signed copies & Soft copy)

8.

Bank Statement

(Approx 16 to 20 Lakhs)

On original Bank Letter head signed by the Manager with a seal of Bank.
It should contain A/C No. And Amount in that Bank (Indian Rupees & in US Dollars)

9.

Affidavit of Support

Signed by Sponsor and notarized on Rs.20/- Stamp Paper (all Original) should include Bank Name , A/C No, Amount in Rupees & US $.

10.

TOEFL Score Card

Photo in a Cover
(Student has to report the official scores through ETS)

11.

GRE/GMAT/SAT Score Card

Photo in a Cover
(Student has to report the official scores through ETS)

12.

Passport

First two and Last two Pages Photo copies along with covers.

13.

Passport size Photos

Only Color Photos with white Background

14.

Experience Letter or other Educational Certificates

IMPORTANT POINTS IN REFERENCE LETTER

            to  any factors which may in your own opinion have adversely influenced the result

FOR PRIVATE CIRCULATION ONLY

List of documents to be produced for verification and Photo copies filed with our office:
        1. I-20 Form issued by the university in U.S.A.
        2. Scholarship / Assistantship grant letter.
        3. Passport of the candidate.
        4. Affidavit / Affidavit of support executed by the candidate and sponsor / s,
            duly executed on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs10/- each (Formats enclosed)
        5. Reserve bank of India / other authorized bank’s permit.
        6. Bank pass books (all duly updated) along with bank certificates with respect to the
            candidate and / or sponsor/s duly supported by supporting vouchers like pay-in
            slips etc.

1. Property documents:
      a) Title deeds (sale deeds, gift deeds, partition deeds, settlement deeds, court judgments allotment letters etc.) With respect to a immovable properties in the names of candidate and /or sponsor/s situated in urban areas.

        b) Revenue officer’s Mandal certificate as records agricultural lands .Also peahen patters
Etc. evidence ownership of landed property.

        c) Gram panchayat certificate with respect to rural house properties, dairy, poultry farm etc.

2. Valuation reports:
     a) Valuation of urban properties like plots, flats & house properties done by any registered Engineer, architect, licensed surveyor etc.(non-Govt. employees)

        b) Mandal Revenue officers certificate as regards agricultural lands.

        c) Gram panchayat’s certificate with respect to rural houses, dairy, poultry farm etc.,

3. Income statements:
        a) Salary certificates
        b) Rental declaration with respect to rental income
        c) Profit and loss account incase of business income
        d) Mandal Revenue officer’s certificate as regards income from agricultural lands
        e) Gram panchayat certificate in the case of poultry and dairy farm income.
        f) Pension proceedings or bankers certificate in case of Govt. pension income or
            freedom fighters Pension income

4. Other documents:

Certificates/ documents related to all savings and investments in the names of candidates and sponsor’s i.e., fixed deposit receipts, shares, debentures, units, chit pass books (Regd.)provident fund accumulation certificate, public provident fund pass book, National savings, Scheme pass book, National savings certificates, Mutual Fund Investments, LIC policies and all tax savings & other Investments. Also documents like partnership deeds, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, memorandum & articles of association and capital account extract


Guidance Notes:

1) Bank account balance could be in the names of either candidate or sponsor’s or both. Amount equivalent to first year I-20 cost at the prevailing) rate should be deposited in savings account. Fixed deposit amounts are not considered as liquid funds.

2) The candidate / sponsors are liable to explain the source of the balance in their respective savings account.

3) The various factors presumed to be taken into consideration for the purposes of granting VISA by American embassy officials are:

        a) Good academic record throughout
        b) TOEFL,GRE,GMAT & SAT Scores
        c) I-20 from university
        d) Grant of Scholarship / tuition waiver /assistantship.
        e) Future plans of the candidate upon return to India, after studies in U.S.A.

Documents to be produced before American Consulate General, Chennai originals:
Draft fees Rs……, Visa Fee ……, T.T services Rs…… in Favor of T.T. Services, Chennai,

        a) I-20
        b) Pass-port
        c) Pass books along with bank’s certificate confirming bank balance.
        f) Affidavit & Affidavit of support
        a) Auditor’s financial report.
        b) TOEFL & GRE scores certificates
        c) Pass certificates and marks list for degree , inter & 10th class.
        d) Distinction certificate.
        e) Two pass-port size photographs.
        f) Salary / service certificates of candidate and/or sponsors.
        g) Candidates are advised to have Photo copies of these documents, for ready
             dispensation, in case the VISA officials required the same.
        g) Property documents preferably original copies.
        h) Receipt of One-Year Deposit fee in University.
